CO2 Emissions and Environmental Impact

At Sharp Equipment, we recognize the environmental challenges posed by traditional diesel-powered machinery. One key factor is the CO2 emissions that result from burning diesel fuel. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), burning one gallon of diesel fuel produces approximately 22 pounds of CO2 emissions.

A typical diesel trailer vac consumes about 30 gallons of diesel per day. This translates to 660 pounds of CO2 emissions each day (30 gallons x 22 lbs of CO2). Over the course of a typical work week, this amounts to 3,300 pounds of CO2 emissions — a significant environmental impact.

As we continue to innovate, Sharp Equipment is committed to exploring cleaner, more sustainable technologies and practices that can help reduce these emissions. By focusing on alternative energy options and environmentally conscious equipment, we aim to help businesses operate more sustainably while maintaining performance.

We encourage all operators to consider the environmental footprint of their equipment and take proactive steps to reduce emissions. Together, we can create a greener future for the industries we serve.
